Axentis SaaS-Based GRC Solution Continues Growth
CLEVELAND, OH—March 19, 2007 — Axentis , providers of a leading governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solution, today announced that IBM (NYSE: IBM) has completed the expansion of the hosting services provided for Axentis Enterprise . IBM provides a scalable infrastructure that currently supports more than 740,000 users, is highly available with a fault tolerant infrastructure supported by IBM Cluster Solutions and provides the highly secure, SAS70 Type II certified environment.
“We are pleased to continue to grow our relationship with Axentis,” said Dave Mitchell, director of strategy, Software as a Service, IBM. “We are dedicated to working together to best serve our business partners and our joint customers to leverage new market opportunities around the growing SaaS model.”
Leading Global 2000 customers look to Axentis to address key areas of concern including Sarbanes-Oxley, Information Privacy, Ethics & Integrity, Legal & Regulatory and Enterprise Risk Management. The expansion of the SaaS facility, including increasing the processing power and SAN data bandwidth by 200%, allows Axentis to continue providing the highest performance and availability levels for its customers.
“The rapid user growth validates the company’s vision of providing organizations with a consistent and integrated method to managing all key GRC applications,” said Robert Hoyt, CEO of Axentis. “Axentis customers have pressing requirements and our SaaS-based solution allows them to deploy applications much more quickly and at a significantly lower cost than with traditional software offerings. With help from IBM, we will continue to deliver our growing customer-base the level of security, availability, accessibility and scalability that they have come to expect.”
Axentis is the only GRC company leveraging a pure SaaS model to deliver consistent workflow, reporting, security, and content and learning management. Through its SaaS-based foundation, Axentis Enterprise (Ae) is capable of offering customers new product enhancements in real-time, thereby eliminating the traditional interruption associated with the upgrade process. With Ae, all infrastructure and operational resources are also bundled and managed for a lower total cost of ownership.
