Axentis Delivers Sales Compliance Solution for Salesforce.com’s AppExchange

Salesforce.com Customers Can Now Deploy Axentis Enterprise Sales Compliance within Their Salesforce Implementations

SAN FRANCISCO – salesforce.com Appforce Conference -- May 24, 2006 – Axentis , the leading provider of on-demand governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solutions, and salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced the availability of Axentis Sales Compliance for salesforce.com's AppExchange. Customers can now deploy the Axentis Enterprise Sales Compliance module as part of their Salesforce implementation to more quickly and easily manage sales compliance training and certification requirements in industries such as life sciences, insurance and financial services. Axentis Sales Compliance for AppExchange is immediately available for deployment at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange. The announcement was made today at Appforce, salesforce.com’s first annual AppExchange partner, user and developer conference.

With Sales Compliance for AppExchange, sales people have a single view of their compliance requirements, and executives have one-click access to the status of sales compliance initiatives within their organization. Sales Compliance for AppExchange also dramatically reduces the administrative burden and risk of sales compliance programs, by automatically distributing the right compliance content to the right salespeople, tracking through electronic signatures, and managing exceptions.

“With heightened scrutiny and ever increasing legal requirements being extended to the sales force, this new capability creates business performance opportunities by both streamlining the training delivery and oversight requirements as well as reducing the time and effort required for Web-based training certification by the sales force,” said Brett Curran, Senior Director of Corporate Compliance of HealthMarkets. “In simple terms, the sales team can now maintain proper behavioral knowledge in a manner that maximizes their availability to sell and support their customers while minimizing the administrative overhead of training development, delivery and oversight.”

Axentis is the only GRC company leveraging the SaaS model to deliver consistent workflow, reporting, security and content and learning management. Currently 700,000 users from Global 2000 companies located in more than 100 countries trust Axentis with their GRC requirements. Whether tackling Enterprise Risk Management, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, Corporate Code of Conduct, Anti Money Laundering statutes, Operational Risk, or COBIT, Axentis Enterprise is the common platform resource used to automate processes, reduce costs and manage risk.

“This integration between salesforce.com and Axentis unites leaders from both the CRM and GRC industries as well as two organizations driving the effort to bring SaaS solutions and their inherent benefits to the global business community,” said Robert Hoyt, vice president of sales at Axentis . “With Sales Compliance for AppExchange, Salesforce users will now be able to not only more effectively manage their sales and marketing programs, but also to ensure their compliance, both critical components to a successful and sustainable sales force.”

“Traditional client-server CRM and compliance applications share a common trait, high project risk,” said George Hu, senior vice president and general manager, applications, salesforce.com. “SaaS virtually eliminates this by removing expensive and complex infrastructure and high implementation costs, all while guaranteeing the customer that they are utilizing the most current version of the software at all times."

Axentis Enterprise for AppExchange is one of more than 250 applications created by salesforce.com, its customers and partners that are now available on the salesforce.com AppExchange, the world’s first on-demand application platform.
