Axentis Announces Strategic Partnership with the Ponemon Institute
Leading Organization Joins Axentis to Fuel Effective Privacy Awareness and Best Practices for the Global 2000 Community
Cleveland, Ohio - October 23, 2006 - Axentis, the leading provider of on-demand governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with a key player in the privacy management arena, the Ponemon Institute. Under the terms of the agreement, the Ponemon Institute will provide strategic guidance on Axentis Privacy Management Suite, the industry's only software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering dedicated to addressing privacy management. Additionally, the organization will play a critical role in helping Axentis by increasing industry awareness of key privacy issues.
As part of its research, The Ponemon Institute Privacy noted that two of the top three criteria consumers use to determine a company's trustworthiness are connected to privacy. The Axentis Privacy Management Suite, announced on August 30, is designed to empower Global 2000 companies, government entities and educational institutions to successfully address the key issues that directly impact corporate reputation, consumer confidence, employee trust and protection of intellectual property.
