Brett Curran to Outline Code of Conduct Best Practices

Cleveland, OH—October 4, 2007—Axentis, provider of the industry’s most comprehensive and widely deployed governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solution, announced today that Brett Curran, vice president of GRC and privacy practices, will share his insight and expertise during “Code of Conduct,” a webinar hosted by the Open Compliance & Ethics Group (OCEG) on October 9, 2007. Mr. Curran, along with OCEG chairman and chief executive officer Scott Mitchell, will discuss how organizations can set a “tone at the top” by establishing a code of conduct to reduce risk, set workforce expectations and manage effective policies, procedures and controls.

“A company’s code of conduct is perhaps the simplest and most effective way for management to set the tone for ethical behavior across the enterprise,” said Mr. Curran. “This webinar is a great starting point for organizations interested in learning how to establish, communicate and leverage a code of conduct to ensure that all employees, contractors and business partners are aware of the organization’s views regarding acceptable conduct.”
